My first ColourQ Challenge

I am participating in my very first ColourQ Challenge. For this challenge, #72, the colours to use are: Cherry Cobbler, Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake.

I used a blender pen to ink all of the images. The flowers and butterflies are Tangerine Tango and Cherry Cobbler together, while the one blue butterfly is Baja Breeze and Night of Navy.

All of the butterflies are stamped on the cardstock except for the blue one, it's raised. I wanted to give more highlights to the flowers, so I raised them all too, making the exciting colour combination of Tangerine Tango and Cherry Cobbler have a little bit more appeal.

I dressed it up further by adding some pearls in the corners of the DSP. In addition, I used the crimper to the Cherry Cobbler strip to give some added depth.

Materials:
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Crumb Cake
DSP: Night of Navy Patterns Collection
Inks; Cherry Cobbler, Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Wild Wasabi
Stamps: Sweet Summer
Accessories: Crimper, Pearls, Blender Pen

  8. Thank you Arielle for picking my card!!!!

PoessisSchatz- I used Stazon black for the stamped image of the flowers. It amazing because it doesn't bleed when you colour it.
