Blossom Flower Card

This is my submission for the monthly punch art swap that I am partaking in. I used the two smaller petals on the stunning Blossom Petal Punch [Thanks Kim!!!!]. I sponged the edges in one of my favourite colours to use, Bashful Blue. The middle is punched with the Itty Bitty Punch Kit; lastly it is embellished with a Circle Ice Brad. Lastly, I dipped the flower tips in glitter.I then used the second largest petal for the leaves. I crunched the leaves in my fist, then inked them in Old Olive to give it the grainy appearance that is found in natural leaves.

The background image is the absolutely adorable stamp set from SAB: Sweet Summer. I used Versa Mark on it to give it that clean and simple water-mark appearance.

I ran two strands of ribbon behind the sentenment from Wonderful Favourites with the cute little bird from Sweet Summer.

Marterials:
Cardstock: Shimmer White; Early Espresso, Old Olive, Sahara Sand
Stamp Sets: Wonderful Favourites, Sweet Summer
Inks: Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Versa Mark
Punches: Blossom Petal Punch Extra Large, Itty Bitty Punch Kit
Embellishments: Circle Ice Brad, Early Espresso 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glitter
